For me the transfer deadline day needs moving to an earlier date to stop very late signings (I suspect the RFL will do that)aside from that I'm not sure much needs changing and hopefully more clubs in the Championship will be able to afford full time squads meaning that competition gets better.

Leigh are a very good side and I think we'll start to see that in the remaining games, Wakefield are rightly huge favourites and fully expected to win tomorrow but our boys can play a bit and if we get the 50/50's and a bit of luck anything can happen in our 3rd game on the bounce v SL teams.

Nothing to be negative about as I'd take this every time over the years of 'Play off RL' we have endured without promotion being in our (or any other clubs)hands.
Hopefully Wakefield will be bringing a decent away support and we'll have another cracking afternoon at the LSV with the place bouncing.

As I stated earlier, anyone who thinks the new Wakey signings are better than what they had previously, needs to seek help!!

Just got a 'better coach' now, and are giving 101% in the Qulaifiers, rather than in SL, where they were wooden spoonists after just a few months.

I'm really disappointed by the sudden negativity emanating from the club. Both from the board and the coach about the difference in salary cap between the two leagues and the end of season signings by Wakefield et al. This negative clearly has an affect on the team and we need to move away from that return to the positivity that eminated from the club over the past two years.

I would say it's not negativity! It's feedback.And to endorse the feedback (if the opportunity becomes available) you would do it in front of the cameras.

Don't forget that this is all skewed by the defeatist negative attitude of Wakefield who gave up on getting out of the bottom four before the season was less than half way through. You can understand it with 3 or 4 games to go but with more than 10? Teams with ambitions like that have no place in the elite of our sport.

It's irrelevant what Wakefield have done. The club as a whole is spending too much energy talking about things out of our control. The only thing we should be talking about is what we do, not others. Negativity is dangerous, it's like a cancer that can quickly spread throughout the club. We need to knock it on the head quickly and start focusing on the positives before we implode.

We have a lot of successful business men involved with the club now. They wouldn't let this happen in their businesses, so please stop it happening at the club.

I agree with that, there are no positive vibes coming out of the club, it must have an effect on the players. They should be chomping at the bit to get at Wakefield not having to prepare listening to moans about level playing fields and registrations. I hope, come three o'clock, that they are totally focussed.

To be fair, for a large part of the early to mid season we were absolutely crippled with injuries and for a team spending much less than anyone else it hit us very hard. We found ourselves cast adrift at the bottom. Our turning point was probably the CC game where in desperation to kickstart our season we rushed back two or three big players who had been out quite a while....it backfired but allowed us to then assess where we were at and change accordingly.

The first and most important move was bagging Brian Smith. If bringing in a coach like that is seen as negative and defeatist then fair play....

The timing was perfect as it gave him enough time to look at the whole picture and make the changes he needed....we are a completely different proposition to the CC game...the one on an 11 match losing run in the league and rock bottom confidence wise, players not 100% fit etc....

We are fresh, fit and back with a spring in our step playing with confidence....should be a cracking game as Leigh will be wanting to prove a point and get back to winning ways....I fancy us, but wouldn't be the greatest shock if we came away beaten...

Should be a great game, rules are there to be stretched and Wakey etc did nothing wrong - indeed in the same boat I would hope we would do the same, sentiment and morals get you nowhere in sport.

We will miss Hock and Wakey have stepped it up but if we score early you never know

As well you know Wakefield have done nothing illegally or morally wrong, just simply played the rules, your coach in conversation with rughead on boots an all stated as much, but implied it was not done in the spirit of the game. I for one don't accept it but here's a couple of examples of not playing in the spirit of the game, Wigan deliberately breached the salary cap in an effort to stay in SL when Noble signed Fielden, they were docked 4pts reduced to 2pts on appeal after Lindsay threatened the RFL with court action, and if we come a bit closer to home and please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but has two of your players have been found guilty of taking performance enhancing drugs, both not exactly in the spirit of the game and extremely embarrassing for the clubs involved and their fans, and you have the nerve to say we have no place in the elite of our sport, what a tit you are

Not sure why the salary cap difference is being thrown around so much, it's not like we weren't aware of it all season, I can only guess it's because Leigh have lost the last 2 games. What I will say is that they have lost against good SL teams, regardless of where they finished this year.
The Wakey game is Leigh's chance to stand up and show what they are capable of and the last 2 games should have helped show Rowls where his weaknesses are.

Lost....one No.6.....last seen playing in the championship. Chase last week and Millar this week have been the difference

Tbf, when Chase is on game there's not many who can best him in RL. You have a point with Miller though. By all accounts he didn't have a great game either, yet has come off better.

Pressure is on to beat the other Champ sides, and while you may think that that isn't a big ask after your season so far, they are going to be one-off games. Just like those games you beat SL opposition in earlier in the year. You'll need to be switched on to get a result, as any complacency will see you, realistically, out of the comp.

We don't need to get in SL this season, but it's only a matter of time before we do. Some trolls are 'having a wink' over the fact we lost to a Super League club by 1 point. Guess that we are attracting so many 'guests' is a compliment, whatever happens in the next few weeks, can't wait for the 2016 season.
