It was Baldwin and Rowley in 1994(?) when the club was on it's backside and no doubt will have taken any possible bid. Donlan signed at the end of the 2000 season.

Fax may have sold Barlow to Leigh because fax didn;t wan thim to come to fev full time. But Barlow has signed nothing.

Before the loan to fev he told Rowley he would be interested in signing for Leigh but heard nothing else until he announced it on Sunday.

As long as Barlow hasn't signed anything then any deal between Fax and Leigh is worthless

By all accounts the Leigh deal was done and dusted before Fax decided to release him on loan to Fev. Fev never had an option on signing him.

Dont be too easily taken in by someone who has been a house too often.

It was stated on here the contract was already with the rfl. If indeed SB is going to cause problems with this then I hope any monies or players do not go to Fax. He is still a fax player at the moment isn't he?

Yeah still a year left on his contract, obviously one way or another Barlow and Leigh have broken that contract, theres really no going back on it. Obviously Im not saying that Fax didnt give permission for that to happen, thats between the two teams and I would be very surprised if the people at Leigh overlooked the fact that he was still under contract.

If however fax have agreed the transfer then no conttact has been broken. Why would leigh send an unsigned contract to the rfl. One of our board stated that the contract was with the rfl on here. The only person who sounds like he is about to break a contract is Sam himself. The point I was trying to make was if money or players are involved in the move then they should not still be going to fax.

One more thing, have fax come out and said he is our player he is going nowhere?

Thats the thing though if money or players are part of the deal then Leigh would be breaking that agreement if they didnt abide by it.

Fax have come out and said he will not be coming back for next season and he has signed for another team which they believe to be Leigh.

The only reason Leigh have have gone public with this is to shame Sam into signing something which at the moment is only a verbal agreement, they know the chances of him actually signing are now slim. True he talked with Leigh before the Fev loan deal, but he did not sign anything, why would he, he was still contracted to Fax.

If there was no possibility of signing him im sure Fev Rovers would say so. Fact is people from inside the Rovers camp have said right from the start of this loan, that signing him full time IS a possibility.

From what I can gather if Rovers want Sam and he wants to sign for Fev then he will start next season a Fev player.

How would telling a blatant lie that he had signed shame him into signing? That just doesn't make sense.

Surely if he hasn't signed and the Leigh camp are saying he has, he would come out and say "They're telling lies, I have definitely not signed for Leigh". If he hasn't signed he would have nothing to lose by stating this as a fact.

..and how do you lodge a verbal agreement with the RFL? I really hope that the board member who posted re contract at the RFL is correct, If he is correct then we could say SB is 5 pennies short of a shilling to be playing the games he is reportedly playing.

Played with Bullock at Wigan, is a hell of a size for a 21 yo ( 6'3'' 110kg) and seems to have some pace having previously played centre. Does cage fighting to relax and has a reputation for being a tad aggressive. If true he seems an interesting project that could go either way.
