Its all very unprofessional is it not, this has been a big big problem at our club for many years now,surely we can improve & at least appear to know what we are doing.

The Club might know what it wants to do. However, the Club does not own the stadium.

When The Watcher attends the theatre to watch a performance by a certain theatrical company, you can bet your bottom dollar that the performing group dont own the theatre, however The Watcher is given a specific seat in which to sit. The Watcher says again ...it is not rocket science.....lots & lots & lots of places have reserved seating. Lets treat the customer with some respect, after all he is paying his hard earned cash out.

We’ve only been at LSV for one season, I wouldn’t know but people have posted this wasn’t an issue at HP.

But I can’t for the life of me see why they couldn’t allocate at least a block specific to those wanting to reserve a seat. In fact I’ve previously said the away supporters should be given the block at the South End of the West stand, so that both teams want to play towards their own fans in the second half. Plus I think it creates a better atmosphere when all 3 of then sit together.

And you pay extra for the 'best' seats

And thats all reserved seating, not mixed.

Just as the entrance fee to watch Leigh in the North Stand is different to that in the West Stand.It really is not that difficult.

you can turn up on the night & buy a ticket (if there are any left) & yes it does have a nomber on it, however one can sit in any unsold seat. Once again I tell you in all honesty, iy really is not that difficult to have reserved seating for your most loyal customers.

Weren't the season ticket details supposed to be released 'early' this week?

I asked at LSV ticket office yesterday and was told there will be an announcement on december 2nd!!!!

How are we going to cope on 2nd December. Shirts/Season Tickets/ Meet Ian Millward night.

was ordering tickets for the two pre season games today and the guy in the ticket office said an anouncement on this is expected later this week or early next week

Well I'd say "early" next week has been and gone with it being Wednesday Evening (nearly).

Can’t see the need to wait now, we know what division we’re in, how many home games, etc.

the lsv can say that, but its still does not say why that is the case, still waiting for a reply, will post it as soon as it comes, if it ever does.

I go in the North Stand so I,m a neutral on this.

The fact is however that it's the LSV and not the club who have this policy.

The policy they have is strange in my view and if they had a reasonable reason for their'' what seems an illogical stance' you would think they,d let us' and' more importantly the club know.

TBH the reasons are that its their stadium and they can dictate the rules, again its something thats got to be lived with, I can see the reasons (common sense dictates some) but if they dont suit others they would and will only disagree and find fault anyway.
Like the moaner says its not rocket science but it may as well be if people disagree.
Me if I wanted a reserved seat Id just go earlier, problem solved no confrontations, if you dont like the burke sat next to you, you can move, and you can sit where you want.
People who want priveledged seats could always club together with others of the same ilk and hire a box.
IF we ever sold enough season tickets then one would suppose we could dictate to the LSV but we dont so we cant.
