Old Man Fisher  Ray in his time was a decent Rugby player , played many times for Leigh , also for Warrington , and Oldham ,would do a good job for us now , not a bad Centre. |

| Greenalghs scotch pies take some beating ! Anybody ever try the meat pies from beasleys butchers on A6 in westhoughton they sadly don't do em anymore but you needed a bib on with those rascals  they were that juicy. Awesome ! |

Be very carefull folks as there are people on here who think that you should only be talking about the clubs present plight and nothing else. Oh and god forbid you should make a few consistant spelling mistakes or leave before you have given the team a bit of a clap while they do a lap of honour that they probably think is the most tedious thing they could imagine after loosing an important game. I am now just going to be a paying fan who helps the club when ever I can. My contributions to this forum are at an end as I am fed up of reading dribble from peple who think they know what is happening at this club and even worse reading drible from people who have known what is going on at this club and said nothing. Enjoy your lives. Lots of love. Tony.

| A Yates and Greers 'GROWLER' straight out of their oven with a brew (we used to have this at 7am brew at the 'nick' when I first started as it was my job as the new 'rookie' (until Mick Lynch came along  ) to get the pies and make the brews (it was in the early 70's though) |
