Regarding the o/p, surely the three (or more) games against the ersatz Canadians will impact upon Leigh A Team this season should

a) the Middle 8s still happen
b) the above still have any bearing on promotion to SL for 2019.

Touching on point B, in the light of rumours that refuse to subside (despite the main cause of subsidence in the M62 belt leaving the RFL) of a root and branch restructure for next year, is not ML's post (as quoted ibidem) at least a topic for debate?

Hope Charlie's right regarding the 4th, btw, and we put some clear C&W water 'twixt us and the former wearers of the proud shirt, though it is another (possibly the worst) game that Bongser will miss as, during the second half, he will be scrumaging a heavy weight up a steep slope in a place that calls itself Bowdon - a town that is like the (modernish) proverbial Tim.

I assumed that if you was involved in one club running in any RL division, that you couldn't get involved with another one. Or is this another rule that if your Toronto, then you have a free reign

The others would have to be in a RL division to start with. But he's very clear in that the new ventures have their own owners.

'" The only people who could have taken anything from that game would have to be staunch supporters or the relevant coaching staffs. To me the most strikingly obvious thing to come out of the game was how unfit Toronto appeared to be, they were Ok for the first 20 of each half but tired rapidly even though they were continually rotating the players on the pitch, had Bradford had anyone capable of leading them around the field they may have scored a few themselves, especially the last 20 of the first half. If Leigh pace the game and especially having a young fit squad they should give Toronto the run around as the game on Sunday progresses, If Juksey gets his bench right and brings in the hard runners after the softening down period, and I include Acton on the bench we can and hopefully will put the game to bed before half time.

In fairness the surface will be much better at LSV for the season opener. Gregg would've been glad for the half-time hooter after that slip (saved by the hooter) There can however be no guessing what the weather will be like. If PR sends the T'ronno Packers out to play his traditional style of expansive RL in the wind and the rain then, "Hey ho", Leigh'll send 'em packing back to, eerrrmm, Manchester with a performance (albeit from an almost entirely new team) like the one against Salford at the tail end of last season.
