I don't think our completion rate has been as low all season as it was today. Dropping the ball at the PTB on multiple occasions, Riddy dropping the ball with nobody in 20 yards of him, Hopkins making a complete balls up of fielding a drop out, Hopkins making a complete balls up of fielding a kick off. Paterson making a complete balls up of almost everything he touched. Weston's terrible attempt at a charge down. The list goes on...

Relieved more than anything else, glad we saved that performance for Fev where we can get away with it because London or Salford would have punished us if we had played that badly against them.

We looked vulnerable at full back Lee Smith didn't do owt wrong for me in that position.

A few players had bad games which impacted on our completion rate. We looked very average but I know we are better than that.

In Jukes post match interview he mentioned that Moimoi's hamstring went again which is why he only lasted 12 minutes.

Also Weston was having back problems throughout and had to do much reduced minutes.

So some of the other forwards did well to pick up the slack. Tickle did huge minutes and got through a tonne of work.

Think the week off is coming at the right time for us, we have put a lot into these last 3 games and although we have got 3 wins from 3 we were starting to look a bit tired today.

Good to see Leigh doing well so far in the qualifiers. It would be a boost to the whole RFL structure if you can get promoted. It will indirectly improve the competition in SL because teams will want go avoid the bottom 4 knowing that it is very possible to get relegated.

Risking Fui when he clearly wasn't 100% was foolish in the extreme. Does Jukes not have faith in Spencer or Fash to do a job? If so, we're down to the bare bones.

Stood with the Fev fans in the second half just to see the mighty Leigh support behind the other goal. Outstanding spectacle.

I am glad you mentioned that as effectlvely we were an interchange down all game. A point lost on some Leigh supporters walking off the ground.

There were some big shifts put in as a result, especially that second half up hill.

Matuia was outstanding for me, running some great lines and defensively solid throughout. He is 34 this bloke. I hope we can tempt him to do one more year.

It was always going to be tough. Last week took a lot out of us as well and 2 week off to recoup and re charge our batteries could not have been timed better at all. We will be all the better for it, ready and raring to go 4 from 4.

With 3 wins out of 3 you are on 6 points which is the same as both teams in the MPG last year. You could well get automatic promotion this year with a 3rd spot, I think this is certainly possible for you.

I'd welcome you to the top flight and think you bring more than 2 of the SL clubs that you are competing with, although I'd never want to sacrifice a Yorkshire club for a Lancashire one.

I also think that if you get promoted this year it will make a very good point. I'm sick of the vocal lot who complain about the Middle 8s when I think they need time to be tested. A promotion for you would be a great advert for the format in its current form.

I'd also enjoy a revisit to the LSV, I like going there.

Maybe it would be wise to rest Fui for 3 weeks, drop Spenner in & bring FFMM back for Giants at home on the 10th ?

I like Spencer anyway, underused IMHO.

I can't pretend to be a fan of Wakey although I remember really rooting for your lot when Kear steered you to safety in the final game of the season, forget the year but it was a thrilling match.

Anyway back to your post ....

It is [iSTILL[/i a massive ask to get auto or any promotion & just one more performance like that could consign us to Championship RL for years. Leigh still have to beat Batley & 1 SL Club to get the 10 points that will surely do it, they are capable but have to employ SL mentality & focus to achieve the dream.

It is obviously nice when a SL Club fan comes on with words of encouragement or praise but we must not get ahead of ourselves.

What I do think Leigh will bring is a good style of play & a very solid fan base who are loud on the terrace & travel in good numbers, any away Club will benefit financially from that & it adds to the atmosphere, nobody wants to see 50 or 100/200 away fans & a boring team, so please Leigh Centurions, make it happen.

Why would it be wise to rest Fui for 3 weeks? If his hamstring wasn't up to playing this week surely that would have been picked up on in training.

I still think there could be upsets to come in the second half of this qualifiers.Possibly a auto promotion is on the cards and also the MPG might also see another championship team in it..Lots at stake all round at the minute.

That sums up my view.

Its being assumed we will lose at HKR however, we should be looking to win every game and after a two week break this might be our best chance against the remaining SL teams? Does Ryan Brierley have a CLAUSE in his contract that says he cant play against us ? I doubt it !

For me we should treat EVERY game left in the middle 8s like the MPG go all out every time I'm certainly not assuming we will lose at HKR or Leeds,I'm sure Jukesy feels the same way,we are 2 games away from SL let's go all out for the 2 wins.Charlie knows.

No clause, but if Brough and Grix are fit he may not even play. The only games he has 'shone' for the giants since joining them have been against Fev and Batley and Batley won the 2nd half 26-10. Shouldn't that be the other way round with the SL team getting stronger as time ticks by?
