Anyone else having problems with sound quality on Centurions TV on the chatback I can hardly hear the blokes talking even with volume up full blast ????

If you are having difficulty with the sound try and press the up curser on your laptop, it worked for me.

I think its the quality of the recording on certain items, not personnel laptops.....

When is this game getting uploaded, taking forever

I took a month subscription out on Wigan TV to watch the friendly match as I was away at the time. For almost the same money (£3.50 vs. £5.00 month) or (£32.00 vs £35.00 year) it's far better than the Leigh offering, which seems to be run by the Parkinson clan and a bunch of media students. Far better commentary, higher quality sound and video, just a more professional package with better site layout, usability and a lot more videos (coaching, interviews, match reactions etc). If and when Leigh get into Super League this service has to improve. And the Halifax match is still not available at the time of this post.

Only trouble is, you have to watch Wigan!!

I like the commentary, they've improved their camara and the post match interviews are always good. The Dave and Joe show was good, where they both showed their RL knowledge.....

Looks like theyve been having a few problems with the site lately, even though I would like the games uploaded on a Dunday/ Monday morning.....

Leighs would be a lot better if the lads had the money that Wigan TV get given,considering they get next to nothing I think it's remarkable there's so much on it

As 'gunnersguns' quite rightly points out, I wouldn't mind betting that Wiagn are throwing a small fortune at their TV offering, compared to us. It wouldn't surprise me if our guys are working on a 'zero budget'!

As for the 'Parkinson Clan', I'm not sure how much Fred is involved now, if at all? The only other member of that 'clan', working on Centurion TV, is Dave and, for my money, he is worthy of even better things, especially when you compare his efforts with some of the Sky team!

Sorry Centurino I think your being overly harsh, Given the money that Dave & Fred had at their disposal over the years (no where near whats needed) i think "THE PARKINSON CLAN" as you so eloquently put it have done a fantastic job, for me the commentary is informative and usually quite humorous the video quality has got better over the years but without spending huge amounts on professional / commercial video equipment it isn't going to get much better . I can only presume you have a problem with one or more of the Parkinson family (with the way you refer to them) which is quite sad really as i find that Fred , Dave or Andrew would do anything they could to help someone without even being asked. The students i think are good value and getting better all the time and i think the arrangement works well for both parties, they get the experience we get the entertainment. If you wern't being off or harsh then i'm sorry, that's how it came across to me .

The difference is Centurions TV is done all by volunteers where as w!g@n TV is done all by paid media professionals. Suppose we could do it that way but without all the SL money & revenue from fans & sponsorship w!g@n have it'd cost us a player or two. Personally I think they do a great job & would far rather be watching better players on a not perfect but still very good Centurions TV than watch a weaker team play not as good RL on a shiny flash Centruions TV.

Well that must be this weeks Award for "sign of intelligence".

For what it's worth, in my opinion Centurions TV is great value and all concerned are to be congratulated. Let's remember they are not at the LSV all of the time: some of the grounds they have to operate from weren't built for radio never mind TV!

Judging by the where they put their super duper big screen at Halifax I would say they were clueless when it comes to technology and its uses. Did anyone in the North Stand at the Shay manage to spot it?
