fred it only plays for 5 minutes then goes off. its says its a five minute preview of 140.00 minute programme.

Fred, can't get either to work.

Have registered for both. Can't see the Veoh one and the Blip says I am not authorised to watch it.

veoh woeking on laptop via wireless and not logged in.

ensure you have 'adult content' or similiar ticked on yor Blip account.

The above tywo are the only ones allowing such large files to be hosted, and I dont fancy chopping it all into 10 min 'spells' for youtube, sorry.

Fred can get the preview on Veoh, so it is working. When I try to download I just get an information panel about system requirements and after I get rid of that, nothing. I can see here every other video that you have ever made, but not this one.

Blip seems to have no way for me to convince them I am over 18.

Unfortunately ive not had much to do with veoh as most of my vids are under the 10 mins youTUBE rule.

Yes I have installed it successfully and it will play any other clip of yours but the one in question, which is nowhere to be seen!

OK I will investigate some file sharing sites and if I can get one for 'nowt' (always the cheap skate

) I will put it up there and let you know, sorry but it will be Saturday evening before I can do that as Im (still) fitting my kitchen and in the aft Ive got Leigh East, but i'll do it some time tomorrow.

What's the chances of the intro video on Wednesday night being used on the screen before games next season? Would really add to the atmosphere, I reckon.

VEOH player is nuisance to install on Linux. They seem to be stuck in the dark ages of supporting Windows only

Agree. This type of thing is being done at football matches too. Really sets you up for the game ahead.

as long as they dont bring that "lets all shake hands" thing that the footy lot do.

In Rugby they knock 10 bells of ^&%$ out of each other for 80 mins, but shake hands at the end. Hughes steps into Wengers technical area during the game and he storms off at the end of the game in a hissy fit. Apparently getting thrashed again at our place had nothing to do with it though....

Trouble being apparently you cant use the screen for viewing videos (must admit tried a live feed to the big one inside the ground last week and was quite impressed with the resolution) and then immediately switch to it as a scoreboard - don't know why thats what I was told by the LSV tecccy (who knows his stuff and has been a great help to me thanks publically Ian).
I'll put it to Allan Rowley and see if he can discuss with the LSV at a meeting.

Sorry guys heck of a lot of messing about with a file sharing site so am investigating other avenues, but off to Leigh east now.

One thing the Wanderers do is show goals and magic moments on the big screen before games. Hopefully you will be filming plenty of those in 2010!!!!

log in as FredParky password as harvey
file is in video folder as 2_dec.flv
PASSWORD leyther

and experiment as ive not had time to use it as yet.

when downloaded change name of file by deleting the .aa
you will need a .flv player.

I had to create a password for the file tho as it was locked and there was no way to get round this - I used the harvey password.
