Just found out that "Lobby" originates from Staffordshire.

I think you`ll find that most areas of the country have some form of Lobby.

some say it derives from LOB-SCOUSE

Which in itself is from labskause from Bremen and Hamburg, no doubt theres a Nordic version as well .

If you google it there's loads of different twists on it.

People in Leigh all have different ways of making it anyway.
