hey guys i know this is a change of subject, what is the quickest was to get to the ground from manchester? Cheers, oh and anywhere good to drink before the game?

Should those two turns not be right Fred? If you have come up on the train you need to catch a bus to Leigh which will take about 45mins. Sorry but I don't know the numbers or which station in Manchester they go from. The other way is a train from Manchester Victoria to Atherton then a bus from there to Leigh will take about an hour and 15mins. Come to thinkof it I think the bus goes from the Arndale Centre and is the 26 or there is a faster one which I don't know the number of.

26 bus from shudehill leaves at 12-05pm gets 2 Leigh at about 1pm where i meet my mates in the Goose. Good ale at reasonable prices. Ring me 07904703069 and u will have no trouble getting there and back 2 manchester.
