Quote ="Leyther_Matt"As I can't be bothered getting up and looking at a previous programme, who do you use as printers, Alan? If the likes of LGFC can produce a damn fine publication with dashing editors to match then I'm sure it's possible for the rugby!'"
That's the way forward Matt, "In House" publication's to cut down on printing cost's..........
Carlisle United (with a fanbase of aprox. 5500 ) used to use the Cornwall firm "O Publishing" who do the "Matchday Magazine" for a number of football, RL and RU sides, this season though they have cut the programme size to 16 pages and the price from £3 to £1.....early season sales are reportedly up 250 - 300 % and Carlisle estimate they will save in the region of £4000 plus in printing costs over the season.....great having a match day programme as good as any in SL or football but like any business decision it as to be cost effective and as we can't generate sales to cover even 400 progs per game then perhaps a rethink might be in order. Rather have a scaled down version of " The Centurion" than none at all.
