Heard yesterday from a salford fan that The Willows hasn't passed next years RFL inspection, so The LSV is expected to be there first choice of new home, tis only a rumour though.

Well if the rumour about Salford is true I shall still go when Leigh play.

On a serious note isn't there a limit as to how many games are played on the pitch each season ?

Not now, now the pitch has been stitched.

Does the RFL inspect the grounds every year? surely thats a job for the local authority when granting a license/safety certificate.

Radio Manc said something about last year being the last at the Willows, so maybe it has passed now. Also it would seem the Salford chairman is splashing out on some better quality players than they have been used to. This would be to have them finish higher up than they are used to, so when the Stadium is delayed

they can argue that they have proved their worth to SL on the playing side. Someone should tell him the playing side has no bearing in our game anymore
