Specifically the latest Navarra Fred , not forgetting the occaisional RR sport driver as well , as for the rest of us , we drive perfectly well and show due respect to drivers of lesser vehicles
Very well done to everyone involved from competitors to organisers and the many volunteers who help. It is great to see so many people out in the fresh air enjoying themselves and feeling a sense of achievement and raising money for good causes.
Over the last month I know people who have done the two events today, the London Marathon and I competed in my third Keswick to Barrow 40 mile run/walk last Saturday. I never thought I could complete something as challenging as a 40 mile walk/run but have now done three, raising money for a different charity each year and even though it hurts like hell the sense of achievement is immense.
Again well done everybody and long may it continue
My girlfriend Jane did it in 20 mins , i told her to get round the course pretty fast because i wanted
my tea ready when i got home from fishing............................
