Quote ="Ron Burgundy"I know it wont be nice to be relegated but after thinking about it i wont be losing any sleep over it if the worst should happen.
We will be playing in a division below but the only games that i will miss are the Widnes home and away, i will look forward to games like Oldham, Rochdale, Swinton and even Blackpool(away of course
)
The obvious disadvantage is the Super League application but i think we could go unbeaten for 3 years and they would still find an excuse to keep us out.'"
Agree with that.
Widnes was the big game to look forward to for me, theres not much difference between Sheffield & Hunslet , Gateshead & Skolars, Haven and Workington for support.
We could (depends on who joins Dewsbury) also have some local games v Swinton, Oldham , Rochdale & Blackpool , with Keighley and York as good away trips.
Finacially I cannot see how those clubs are a better or worse draw than all Championship clubs with the exception of Widnes and Halifax (with due respect to the others).
A bit of quality marketing matched with attractive pricing and our gates could go up, especially if we win more and have a good league and Northern Rail Cup run with the odd Challenge Cup upset with the luck of the draw
