We were not ' on our knees ' as you describe although if things continue as they are at the present rate we could be in the future

But the day we need a supporters trust to ' run ' Leigh Centurions will be the day we are truly bolloxed

So if anybody wants to set one up ' just in case ' away they go , it is not that hard

Finding anybody to actually help , support and ' put themselves out ' on the other hand is virtually impossible

They was telling us of what their Trusts did and achieved from bad situations. TBF would any clubs situation fit ours like a glove? It was examples, and telling us what they where about which struck a chord at the time because of uncertainty at that time.


Maybe you was in the know at the time so could feel relaxed about the situation. Us lot thought we was "on our knees" at that time. But don't want to bring all that up again anyway as it achieves nowt.


Agree to a point. That tiny % chance of getting into SL will disappear anyway.


It is hard to set up IMO. Unless there is someone(s) with time, and determined to get it started. Like I said further back we wasn't told how to start one properly.


You are not wrong there.

The general apathy of many would largely render it a non-starter IMHO.

Although I agree you apear to have a good set -up at Leigh ,I also know the Supporters Trust has also moved on.They recognised they were more football orientated and did not apear relevant to rugby league,so they have set on 2 people to deal with rugby league clubs and 1 of them is based at Hudderfield.
