Losing players to SL clubs you can just about accept, but losing them to fellow Championship clubs is not quite as easy to accept. Then again it would depend on who we get as a replacement. Now basing the quality of new signings on the last three years, I would say us fans will get the rough end of the deal. If they seriously want SL in 2012 we only have one season (next) to get it right, (at present I cannot see us reaching this years GF).

If we don't get it right, it will be two from Toulouse, Gateshead, Fax, Barrow and possibly Widnes.

I'm happy to persevere with what we have because I'm watching local lads putting the effort in. Anyone can have an off game but in general Leigh lads will always put in 10% more playing for Leigh than a lad from somewhere else.

Potentially losing top young prospects for little good reason would send out the wrong signal to many.

I posted a while back regarding a certain business man trying or actually becoming a agent for 2 young leigh lads 1 being mort then going to leigh to try to double there wages which leigh cant afford so whaaat do we do ??????????

As has been seen this season paying top dollar to players doesn't always work, we can only afford to pay what we can, if other clubs can pay more then so be it, but just remember the player in question last year would have signed a 20 year contract if offered but was only offered a 12 months one, ask yourselves who was responsible for that?
