| Rules are the same for everyone, don't moan about people exploiting a system when you are able to do exactly the same.

this needs to be sorted for next year- the team that got you to the Super 8s should be the one to play in it.'"
If we hadn't made the signings we have we wouldn't even be able to field a 17 with the players that we have lost this season.
We have more or less replaced the players that we have lost.
Would you not want your team to do the same in those circumstances?

| I wouldnt see it as a bad thing. It looks like teams are panic buying at getting any player they can. Alot of the players brought into the lower teams are players that haven't played continuously this season. It will take time for the new players to gel.

| Why couldn't Wakefield board support Ex Coach James Webster when he wanted to bring new players into the squad .If Wakey don't make SL next season this will in my opinion be the straw that broke the camels back and such a famous club has Wakefield will flow away into RL deadzone

Has no one asked the question, 'Why have they let so many contracted players go to the point they cannot raise a side? Or maybe the real reason is your new coach felt he needed capable players to retain your 1.3 million quid, then you can go through the same next season. Transfer window should be half way through the season. On the Grix issue, I suspect he wasn't even fit to play on the 24/07 when he 'signed'. However Wire needed him to go somewhere so that they freed up enough of the Salary Cap and could bring in a half-back for the Super 8s.

| I don't see a problem. Wakefield are keen to preserve their Super League status and are working within the rules to bring in a new coach and different players. I presume the RFL will review the system and make any changes they deem to be necessary for next year. Perhaps this could include equalising the salary cap. If Wakefield , or any other club, are in breach of the rules then a points deduction would be appropriate. It sounds like some fans of other clubs perceive an injustice has occurred and that it has worsened their own clubs position. Boo hoo.

| They aren't breaking any rules although I expect the rules to be altered for next season to avoid this situation of clubs bringing in a new team for the 8's.
I wouldn't be happy seeing a team of strangers run out in Leigh shirts at this point in the season. I imagine half the Wakey fans wouldn't recognise Tupou or Sio if they passed them on the street. Will they really have the passion and commitment to the Wakefield cause?
To be honest Grix is the only one they have signed that is a big improvement on what they have and there are serious question marks around his fitness. Locke is also a great player but never seems to be fit.
I'm happy for us to go with what we have. It is OUR team and it has done us proud all season. Let Wakey sign as many as they like.

| There's no taking the p##s as far as I can see ,Grix can't be fit and they can only play who they have, are Leigh so worried ?I think not ,just a couple of Fans probably looking for excuses before the 8's start,Leigh are a well settled side and I don't think Mr Rowley will be to bothered about Wakey.

Well the majority of the players had already left or been confirmed as leaving when Brian Smith came in, so he didn't really have a choice in that to be fair - So yes he had some funds free to bring in some new players and he did.
A few players didn't want to be at Wakefield, and that was made public by our chairman after we lost to you in the challenge cup - Id much rather have a player here that wanted to play for our club and our going to give 100%.
At the end of the day, I don't really see it as an issue, but I can see from a Leigh fans point of view of been frustrated if we were to come good in the 8s. Leigh have strengthened and added a few throughout the season (Albeit they have been with you for a while) - You've got the benefit of a settled squad of players, and all of the players seem to want to give there all for your club (Which is something that I actually admire about Leigh & the job that Paul Rowley has done).

| Lets not overlook the fact Wire have freed up some salary cap allowing them to bring in a half back for the super 8s.
