I do wonder at times if Powell has been brought in as some kind of fall guy to attract the wrath of the fans. Surely the directors ,who are businessmen, can't be happy with a situation where a club is haemorrhaging paying supporters, & the playing squad has too many duds with "issues" . What next ? Loss of lucrative advertising as we head down the pan to the Championship with a ground too big for our needs. Surely the bosses won't be happy with that ?

His comments about not playing Whitehead are alarming.
