| The new "thing" these days seems to be a leadership group. Personally I think its rubbish - the 13 players on the team should be a leadership group, full stop.
But we should be more blessed with "leaders", based on experience, than most. But where are they?
Vaughan, Clarke, Ratchford, Drinkwater, Dufty, Kasiano
All I'm seeing is petulance, frustration, sulking and liabilities. But these are the players Powell should be dragging into his office and having a heart to heart with.
Walker is the exception atm. He looks like a leader, a captain and someone who is hurting amongst an ocean of apathy.

| Hill was a terrible call for a captain and ratch looks like he learned from him, it's been a terrible call.
The lack of onfield leadership is shocking, matautia was mat-outed as a leader, he didn't say to dufty after he lost his head and started that scuffle on Thurs

| Good call on Walker. I would be putting the trust and leadership into the young ones - Walker, Ashton and Thewlis as they seem to care. Judging from what I saw in the Rams Head last night the rest of em are just a boorish, arrogant mob who seem to think they’re premiership footballers (well ones who have no desire for anything other than instagram).

Wasn't McGuire in the leadership group?

Quote The four-strong group will consist of half-back George Williams, new recruit Josh McGuire and centres Stefan Ratchford and Peter Mata’utia.
The choice was made by the players, with Powell affirming that their choices matched what his would have been.'"
