This is hard to call. It really depends on how good Powell thinks Wrench is? Personally I've seen real pace and good in space but have a few questions without the ball. Interesting ... it's a while since we've seen him playing at Centre in Superleague.

He has hasn`t played many Super League games at centre up to now you are correct.

His speed, handling skills and footwork that I have seen shows that he has all the attributes of a classic centre.

The main question mark would be his defence, which Wire can work on and is quite common in younger players early careers.

It is a tough call this week picking a 17 and possibly it'll be the same for our opponents whose form whilst improving is still in and out. Having scanned their forum, they rightly fancy their chances but some were worried about our pace at the back..

I wouldn't be too disappointed with karetaker's team, let's get Wrench back out there and see what he's got at Centre. IMO Mata'utia can consider himself lucky that Nicholson is out injured now that Wrench is in contention

i'd have matautia at 13, but not 12, dont need him defending near wrench.

We really could do with looking for some mid season 2nd row signing ... Nicholson is gone for weeks and who knows about relying on McGuire

I don't know him either ..I'd be more inclined to bring back savelio from hull until the end of the season to see how he goes... Wouldn't take up a quota spot and really not wanted by smith... Some people don't want him because they think he wasn't ok for us but there are some really poor recollections.... tanginoa is aldon out now as a mid season option.... Either way we struggle in the second row every time there's one missing so we could do with some back up

Bullock could start with Dudson on the bench. (Although I think Bullock is more effective overall, I tend to think he'll be on the bench).
Russell/Thewlis is a coin toss as is Minikin/Wrench.
You have to play Wrench sometime and if he's been ripping it up in training - and DP obviously thinks he's been ready for some weeks - then Hull is as good a game as any. I'd rather he had a mare now than September.

Agree with FMC about Matautia but I also think he's more effective at 13.

It all depends on the tactics DP choses

Disagree about thewlis and Russell, Russell has proved to be decent cover and im not upset to have him in the squad but compared to thewlis he is very limited in his talents IMO.
