Can we still get 0-24 for conceding the game before kick-off? Technically we are struggling to put a team together, even if they're all fit.

I'm really not looking forward to this one. I did think that we were much improved for the most part against catalans but then the floodgates opened, the lads gave up and it became very embarrassing, same again and it could be very, very uncomfortable.

Remember Powells first training video where he says from the outside looking in the team gets rattled too easily? Well at the time I really appreciated that because I felt the same and thought it needed addressing, BUT it hasn't been, the story is still the same. There isn't enough belief within this playing group, we desperately need leaders who will set a higher tone and settle the nerves because for the most part this team doesn't look like they have any belief that they can win when the go more than a score down. Must be hard though when they know we will have a beaten pack pretty much every week.

I’m basing my theory on the points that Wire kept a huge Cats pack quiet for nearly an hour, being unprepared for the heat, arriving only 2 hours before kick off, (no thanks to a back leaving his passport at home, and eventually having to be left behind).
…and that someone was actively p’ed off with some of the team, and I’m guessing the passport error was the straw the broke the camels back.
The players have a lot of making up to do, it could be the reaction we’ve waited for.

Is this certain that King left his passport at home? If so he really must be thick as mince.

Didnt watch the Catalan game but read comments on here. Sounds like Wrench is one of the only players to come out of the game with any credit, So surely Powell needs to keep faith......The omission of Charley says to be hes thinking a wing spot..

Well he’s playing that wing better than Charnley, that is without question. I think competition is healthy and Wrench must keep the shirt if fit.

Get this game and the inevitable battering out of the way, draw a line totally under this season, drop anyone causing trouble in camp (No matter what their name or salary is) and replace them with the academy lads.

We're not going to win anything and we won't be relegated so may as well blood some youngsters and finish 10th or 11th

One of my main concerns tonight is that some of our dafter softlads who turn up to our games can behave themselves.
