| I hope that can be an annual event, kit launch and firework display. Good way to link the club to the community.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Powell addressed the crowd and talked about filling the stadium with entertaining rugby.

Definitely setting his stall out early. Can't fault his enthusiasm and desire to give us a side worth watching, rather than enduring.
Just hope the players take on board his instructions and ideas. It might make next season half decent.

| Sounds like a very well run event, combining rugby related maters to the firework display. I guess that is a “well done” to Karl F and his team.

| Is this the first time we’ve done the shirt launch with the bonfire night event? Maybe it should become a regular thing?

| As a matter of interest what was the crowd? I'm not thinking of an additional prediction comp round just wondering if it was successful as an event is it a case of maintaining it or is there room to grow it?
From the reports on here sounds like a job we'll done

Saw some photos on the Guardian website and it looked like the North Stand was packed. I assume that was the only stand open so maybe the crowd was around 3000?

I've read they sold about 5 thousand tickets, I dunno if that's true, it was pretty full in the third of the stadium that was open.

| From what I can remember north stand is 3,000 and East is 2,000 with the corner fitting 500 in from the top of my head.

| My daughter went and said the North stand was more or less full. There were a few in the East and some standing in the south. I assume the fireworks were set off towards the west stand. Att 5000, sell out for the event.

Standard procedure for when Saints, Wigan or Widnes fans visit, I presume.

| I went to the first time they did this in 2019 and was very impressed. They had the fireworks all from half way backwards towards the West stand, with majority of spectators seated in East stand. There was a few in North stand but not up to half way (im guessing for safety), and a few standing in South East corner. Couldn't go this year as now have baby daughter. I thoroughly enjoyed it when i last went, and by all accounts it seemed like they've improved on 2019. Fingers Crossed they keep doing it - great event and use of the stadium outside of the season.

| Great bit of work by the club. 5k is impressive, and a good way of raising some revenue ... tying it in with the kit launch is a very good idea...keeps it tied to rugby and gives people a reason to attend in the stadium and not watch it from Tesco car park.

It was full in the east and the portions of the south and north allocated - it was a sell out. I imagine they may try and increase capacity next year. £10 a ticket was great value and I should imagine a large portion of the sales receipts went on the pyrotechnics.
