With two weeks before the next game v Les Cats and the need to get the core first team clicking rather than clunking I suspect we will see a pretty conservative pick from Vincent Price. I just hope it doesn't turn into a horror show though as Leeds would love to pick up the 'points'.

Thewliss, Robson, Doro and Longstaff have all done enough for me to at least get their jerseys dirty tomorrow. No Riley Dean perhaps because it's a bit risky ? No Latu is an interesting miss.

As we have two weeks before our next game, I'd expect a stronger line up.

Sitting out Austin is the right decision, and although I'd have preferred to have seen Riley Dean, hope that Patton does a good job on Tuesday.

So I guess you would include Currie and Clark ? That could easily be his intention. They have both played virtually all the games since the restart so I thought I would give them both a rest and let Daddy Clark play with his new baby.

King has played most of the games as well but replacing him with Brand is a bit of a risk.

Good to see Cooper has been rested.

We desperately need the two points and cant afford to muck this up and another gallant defeat a la Salford in the league won't cut the custard on here.

I'm with MPN and expect (hope) a stronger line up particularly as we already have Austin Cooper Lineham Murdoch Masila and Mamo out of contention

I would be disappointed if Patton is selected. We can’t afford to take Leeds too lightly, our own youngsters have shown what enthusiasm can achieve.
I also hope we don’t see a back 3 of Hughes, Currie and J Clark which looks far too predictable in attack.

I'd be surprised if we don't pick the strongest possible side. I think Cooper, Austin & Philbin must be be injured / ill. Must win this one so take nothing at all for granted. No game next week ... at the moment.

Therefore in view of our current unhealthy league positioning it is incumbent upon the team selectors to throw the kitchen sink at every possible opportunity that presents itself.

We should pick the strongest team available from that list. We really need to win, Leeds won't be a pushover they need to win too really. I'm not sure they will rest the whole squad like we did for the semi and with a longer break due to our bye week in the round after the final I don't see why we would rest anyone who isn't carrying a slight injury.

This is a must win, as is Catalans in two weeks time. In fact, unless the wheels come off for either Leeds or Catalans, we are going to need to win five out of the next six. Leeds fielding a weakened side ahead of the Challenge Cup final and the fact that St Helens may be assured of a play off spot ahead of the last game are two glimmers of hope.

Austin looked to have picked up a heavy knock in the Wigan game and Cooper needs a rest, so they were probably never in contention.

I too vote for strongest possible, especially with a decent rest till the next game.

I doubt Price will play Sita regardless, but we are seriously short on props.

I don't like hughes and Clark together in the back row, not sure how to address that though for this game. I'd have thewlis at full back with Ashton on the wing. We need some more size on the bench ideally.

Why is Price fecking about with the line up in a must win game when we have two weeks off after tomorrow?

I’m hopeful Doro and Robson actually get some good minutes in for this game, there’s some serious potential with Doro - he certainly packs a punch. Looking at that squad it wouldn’t surprise me if rested Currie or Hughes or anybody with a niggling injury.

We only played a few days ago and players such as Cooper have played big minutes so far this year.

With fatigue comes an increased chance of serious injury, it's a tricky balancing act for Price.

The comments on here show how bad the last 3 games have been. We've got a -30 handicap with the bookies, we *should* be winning very easily with whatever team we pick from the squad.

Looking forward to getting the game over and done with. With Wigan playing Catalans, we'll go into the mini break in 3rd place.
