Disappointed but not surprised it’s Mamo. Brand would have been my choice, will need him at some point this year, today would have been a good opportunity to get him in the fold

I'd say the Toronto game is a better opportunity to blood Brand and maybe one or two others but, yes, I still remain unconvinced by Mamo so a bit disappointed.

Nonetheless, strong team and I've got high expectations.

It's a long season, can't rely on the same 17 every week. I'd have liked Ashton to be in but realistically he has played 2 more superleague games than I expected him to at this stage and what he has shown in those games mean he will definitely get a lot more minutes this season. We have a good squad, mamo is useful cover and deserves a chance too. So long as we win the selection is right.

Charnley and Lineham are good wingers with below average centres inside them so I’ll give you king, currie can go for me aswell, completely shot. Why bring the directors into it? We’re lucky we have a number of wealthy people willing to put their hard earned money into the club.

Agreed the lack of pace in this team is another reason Ashton must start, ratch is hardly a world beater at full back.

That's a disappointing result. I thought we had turned a corner this season with the performance against Wigan and win over Saints, obviously the problems with consistency from 2019 remain.

People will say it's arrogance saying "getting beat by Wakefield isn't good enough" but it's not if you have aspirations of winning the comp. 8 points for in 80 min is a joke.

Just putting this out there now, we lose to Toronto next week and Price as got to go there and then while the season is still young. At least someone would have enough time to get us right for end of season.
