| Watching the replay of the fracas in the second half it looks as though Lees clearly threw a punch (or two) at Cooper. I assume the incident will be reviewed, so that will be interesting.

| I thought penalty was right. He didn't connect and ended up looking a right softcock. Our forwards really won the battle without Walmsley there to flop around and win cheap penalties.

Was thinking that when I initially saw it but I won’t be surprised if it’s not even mentioned on the review panel.

Looking at his eye and cheek after the game you'd forgive him for asking 'Mickey to "cut him"'

| He grabbed his face and ripped his strapping off. I'd assume thets equal to pulling a player by their headguard which is a straight yellow at least.
Also... the shot clock sounded in the first half because saints failed to form the scrum. why was no penalty given?

Because LMS was having his head repaired. The ref should have stopped the shot clock really, man down. Really don't like this football style move where injured players have to go off the pitch, no room for that in rugby, especially when you can see it's a genuine injury as he's having blood wiped away.
The Lees incident was the biggest nothing moment. The tackle was fine, not worthy of a penalty. Cooper didn't like it and Lees pulled his masking tape off and got pushed over by Clark. I don't see how anyone gets banned from that.
There were three players or four within the first minute or two with broken noses or black eyes. I presume there must have been a couple of head clashes somewhere, or they might have had a dust up in the tunnel.

I don't like it when a team has momentum and opposition players suddenly need their strapping changed. it's a slowing down tactic and you know it. all teams are guilty of it. move off the pitch and get sorted if its that important and let the game carry on, otherwise get on with it.

saints looked quite disorganized at scrums for most of the night, there was a few occasions where players were running into the backrow late, and regan grace had to run in to be the half back leaving them without anyone on the short side on 2 occasions.

In the old days the Blood Bin card would have been out, and he'd need to leave the pitch to get it properly sorted.

Looked like he had been in a car crash by the end of the game.

Only if he can get to his feet...otherwise a player can stay grounded as long as any Hull FC player trying to hold onto a lead.

Knowing our luck with the Disciplinary Panel Coops will get a 2 match ban for losing his head bandage

| I think making a player go off if it stops the shot clock being enforced is fine. Rules out any question of fake injuries.

| I don't think Lees should have any punishment.
But he reacted the way he did as he was frustrated with being smashed around the park. Was great to see.

| Nothing in it. Don't really see why he was so annoyed (Lees). Just frustration at being ted all night I guess.

| Just watching the 2nd half back, 61 minutes in, cooper is 10 metres out from the saints line with the ball being tackled, lees has just come in and given him palm strike to the face.

If the shot clock is stopped owing to a player being injured, what do you think will happen in EVERY subsequent game?

| No it was Hicks...his cheating made Coote have a nightmare...because he never does in big games against small town clubs with a small mentality.
