| If you are a ST holder and didn't attend the playoff against Castleford you have probably received a questionnaire asking 'why not' ?. its a pretty short form with only around 5 questions and you can probably guess most of them. " Which day would you prefer to attend a playoff". "Was it too expensive". " Would you prefer the cost included in your ST". But the starting point for the form was to ask why you didn't attend together with a list of reasons ( from which you could choose and highlight) , and I thought it showed a remarkable lack of understanding to have only 'bad form' as an option that was anywhere close to 'quality of rugby on display', as the reason why many supporters simply found better things to do. Surely the club understands that supporters wan't to be entertained by the rugby on offer ? Everything else is secondary.
An attendance that is approximately half of that for a regular season game is a red light for the club. It needs to face up to the problem rather than digging through all the other reasons people are put off from attending - which they must know off by heart now.

Did they not have "bored titless" as an option?

| I think it's commendable that the club are looking for the reasons, Surely it is better than just doing nothing.

| Does it really matter which day any of us would prefer to attend a play-off? I assume every club involved simply plays when Sky Sports tells them to, and doesn't have a say in it. On the subject of when matches are played in general, I live 230 miles away from Warrington, so cannot attend any Thursday or Friday night games unless I book time off work. When we played the majority of home games on Sundays, I was still a season ticket holder, despite the travelling. Now, with hardly any weekend games, I am not.

The entire point of my post was to highlight the fact that the club were completely avoiding the prime reason people didn't turn up in their questionnaire. Is it so hard to have, say ' loss of matches' and ' poor quality rugby' in the list of reasons for not turning up ? They deliberately avoided asking the question " Is the quality of the product on the field good enough".

| Don’t need a questionnaire they just need to read these forums, BUT. I’m not sure anything said by the fans will make any difference, corporate comes first and most of them don’t even watch the game.

| How do they know you didn't attend? My son is a season ticket holder who went to the game and I've got the email.

They give you a chance at the end to add any other comments you feel are relevant. I'm sure everyone who has filled it in has made a comment about the appalling standard of rugby on offer. Price of tickets and days of the week are irrelevant if what you're paying for entertains you.

The man of the people. I really hope he is signing, proper character I'd imagine he will get on well with the flying pig.

They probably just sent it to everyone with an attendance like that.

I filled in the survey and basically told them myself and many South Standers around us that we're just bored of the style of play being 5 drives and a high kick hoping Toby King catches it! No point in bringing in Widdop if neither of them are allowed to showcase their skills. Much preferred the Wilderspool days of Grose, TKL, Appo, Super Sid and a couple of nigglers upfront like Nickau, Andrew Gee and Nutley. Even though we probably lost more than we won it was much better entertainment which ultimately is what we surely attend the matches for. Just my opinion though!!
