We’ve signed him on loan is he any good

I have never seen him play but when we signed he was billed as the next big thing. Not sure if it was Tony Smith who signed him from Cas .

Had one first team game last season and was MoM. Looks a bit raw boned and probably needs to put a few pounds on to play SL week in week out.

Steve Price signed him on a 4 year deal when he Joined for a 50k transfer if i remember correctly. So it baffles me why he doesn't play, the game against Wigan he played last year he was immense. Took on Clubb and Tautai with no issues what so ever and i think he's only 18-19. Really surprised he's not had a game yet.

Yes. He'll do a job for you. Still learning but very capable in lower SL.

He's been playing but in a Rochdale team that gets beat every week. He also had 1 match for Widnes, which was against Rochdale.

Will be good for him to get SL match time.

The friendly we had against Widnes he needed to go into centre after injuries, and the match against Wigan he came on as a sub prop. Remember him chasing down Gildart.

Maybe he should have played for you yesterday as your other forwards struggled in lower SL.

Not sure why he is so far out of favour. He's a good signing for you and it will do him good having a bit more game time.

There's no point sending players with the quality of Johnson or Livett to Rochdale, they are just too bad.

The Livett one makes no sense to me at all.

He is good enough to be in the squad most weeks and was deemed good enough to be on the bench on Saturday. He should be getting game time at Warrington.

At the moment I'd send BMM, J Clarke & Westwood on loan before Livett.

I'm sure you don't really believe that! But I do recall Livett having a blinder on SKY last season. Did he flatter to deceive or is he the real deal?

I doubt that as Price was the one who gave him a new contract. Unless he just thinks hes a good utility squad back up and that's it. I'm happy with Johnson and Livett going on loan. Gets them playing which must be frustrating when your not. lets us see what they can do on Thursday and gives them Super league first team action. Good for them and good for us

There's no point signing players like Johnson at all if we never play them or give them a chance. He's played once against Wigan, never looked out of place was my MOM and no body has seen him since.

If the lad isn't as good or better than Tasi than he shouldn't even be at the club.

I'd have been playing Johnson in the left 2nd row after that wigan game. A direct edge runner.

Thats one of the things that you can say about saints pack, all their props and back rowers seem to be direct runners which is what caused us problems this year.

Its something we're missing now.
