| Of those out of contract this November I think the following will get a new contract........
Tasi: 30th November 2019
Goodwin: 30th November 2019 (But he may not want to stay)
The following could play themselves into a 12 month contract..
Brown: 30th November 2019 (Depends on Widdops recovery from his shoulder injury)
Akauola: 30th November 2019
The following will move on through choice or not be offered a new contract
Atkins: 30th November 2019
The following , I'm not sure either way
Moran: 30th November 2019
J Johnson: 30th November 2019
Which leaves Westwood: 30th November 2019

| The club have put themselves in such a brilliant position. No stars leaving to worry about, no long contracts that are a burden. Consistently good decision making.
We already have a better team for next season with Widdop, and Burrell if he performs. It can only get better.
As for this year, we can afford to take our time. Nothing to worry too much about, it all depends on performances over the next couple of months.
I wonder if Brown would accept a contract for next season if he knows he'll be 3rd choice? Would be good to have him as a back-up.

| Perhaps were rightly giving the 19s some time to earn themselves into a deal.
They've all have had setbacks at some point to hinder serious talks I think.

| Browns in the past for me now i wouldn't offer him anything and let him move on. Patton is signed for next year so he will be the back up player in the halves so no need for Brown. Yeah i agree that we have no need to rush for any player with the current contracts we have. We're in a very Healthy position at the moment

| I’d expect some 2020 contracts to get renewed this year. Ratchford, Cooper & Currie need extending.

| Mid season when we're winning games it seems a great idea to tie up the whole squad on long term contracts, fans will say 'great management from the club' and so on, but what happens if it comes to the end of the season and we have lost in the playoffs or lost the GF again. There will be lots of analysis on here saying, we bottled it, AGAIN, we need leaders, need an new [insert position X, Y and Z but we'll be stuck with the same faces because we'll have filled up the salary cap.
When Ferguson was at United he used to watch players' attitudes like a hawk and even when they were winning year after year, when players' intensity started to slip and they were no longer as hungry as they were, they got moved on. Whilst our squad has done well, I think there are a lot of players there where the jury is still out as to whether they can really be relied on when it counts. When everyone gets nice long contract renewals it can create a comfort zone mentality. Playing for Wire is a nice fun job, enough talent around you to make sure you'll win more than you lose, everyone has good banter on social media, get to the end of the season and maybe you lose in the playoffs, no worry, just post 'disappointed to lose today, we'll be back next year, #comeontheWolves'.
I have no problem with tying up Daryl Clark on a long term deal but some of the others would be worth watching and observing how they play in crunch games before putting long extensions on the table.
