Yes, Lineham is included, but Mamo would be my pick as well. I suspect Mamo will get a run of games now as his contract is up this year. I think players can talk to other clubs sometime in April ?, so SP has to see Mamo play to decide if he is keeping him, and how much he is worth.

Lineham was in last weeks squad also, and why would he drop Mamo now.

Agree with Mamo continuing at Wing. He did nothing wrong against Cas. Got slightly isolated for their second try.

Why would you drop one of our best try scorers? Who has a pretty good strike rate and is in the England knights set up performing well for a player who has done OK? He let a try in against cas in the same fashion Tom has

He will probably say that Jack Johnson is playing FB and Westwood has been moved to centre to cover Goodwin's spot................... and for some mysterious reason he will be exactly right.

I didn’t drop him, S.Price did and Mamo done enough last week to keep his place. So I’m guessing you would now drop Mamo and bring Lineham back. Btw I’m not against Lineham and never have been just would not make sense to switch them.

Mamo was not at fault for the Cas try in the second half. Nobody was.
Truman took the ball so far into our defensive line the defenders had to assume he was running it. He passed the ball so late there was nothing anybody could do.
The try is worth a watch again - that pass was worth the admission money alone. Sometimes the best defenders are done all ends up because of pure brilliance.

Looks like wigan will go with Tommy Leuluai at 9 which I think is his best position and Sammut in the halves.

Well if the story of him signing for Cas is true why would you not give Mamo a run to try earn an extended contract,so yes I agree with you.

Tom Lineham will just have to wait his turn. Jake Mamo now has possession of that jersey and did nothing for it to be taken away. I don't think Steve Price is in the business of benching a player and then bringing them back for the next game unless the replacement has seriously weakened the team.

Can Lineham legally have signed a contract with anybody at this point of the season?

Personally, i am gutted that tautai is banned and powell injured. They are both terrible and having sammut playing and leuluai at hooker makes them a lot more dangerous.

They're both Wire players and we need to finish as high up the table as possible to give us the best chance of winning the GF.

Was listening to the press conference, Price said Goodwin will be out for a couple of weeks,a grade 2 something I couldn’t make it out.

Godwin was bent backwards in a tackle, he looked as if he sprained his ankle.

As rd says strongest team and for me with lineham size it will be an advantage!

If hill ratchford Clark were dropped would they be waiting to get their place back?

Lineham has had A bad game hardly Warrants completely losing his place in the team and imo Mamo has done nothing special to keep him out of side. Doing nothing wrong is not enough to take someone's place in the side in my eyes!!

3 Weeks apparently

Isn't that the point though - that there is no concept of a someones predetermined place in the side. There are current occupants of a game day jersey which they earn on merit. Loose form and someone else will occupy it. I bet Price has his reasons.
