Very interested to see who "Pricey" brings in to replace the 2 naughty boys. Will he go for a left field selection again like he did with Toby King? On the assumption of like for like Livett and Tasi? Or trust Akauola to put in a decent stint?

In previous seasons, (baring knowing the coach's rotation plans) you could probably call the 17. The quality of the fringe players at numbers 16 - 19 tailed off.

For example, our 19 against HKR last year contained:

Mitch Brown
George King

This season it's nearly impossible to call. You would be happy with any of those 19 making the 17 or even 13.

In fact, throw in Westwood and King, and Currie in a couple of months, that's some serious quality depth of squad we have. Naming a 19 alone when all's fit and available would be tough enough.

Aside from Atkins/King, I think 1-10 picks itself every time. its the back row where the headaches start and the bench to an extent.

Be interesting to see if Akoala's shot clock has been reset to last year's norm of 15 minutes a game.

My money would be on Livet to replace King as an 80 min player (ok, Toby didn't manage the 80 last week). I would expect J Clark, Cooper and D Clark all to have a spell at 13. The trickier one to call is Tasi vs. Akauola. I wasn't able to attend the friendlies but, by all accounts, Akauola had a decent couple of games albeit against lesser packs than Hull KR will be fielding.

Mamo is breathing down the necks of the backline keeping them on their toes.

George King's final quarter form last season would see his name fist on the bench for Saturday imo.

Maybe so this Saturday and not first on the bench IMO and only because we are missing Currie, Westwood and his brother. I appreciate his efforts and your recognition of them, but, he'd still be out of the 19 for me with this squad

IMO his chief weapon is surprise; fear and surprise; two chief weapons, fear, surprise and ruthless efficiency...

His looks: he has a good scary face for promoting games on posters and programmes.

Judging by the latest promo that Wire Flyer is a bad tempered meany, could they be one and the same?
Good effort so far from the club on the promotion side. First Wolfiegate, then Wireski and now the lean green running machine.

I have retired to the comfy chair after reading that, in readiness for Hull and Cas.

I am still awaiting HKR and the Flying Circus.

Clark will play 13 I reckon, so it’s just whether you’d want to keep BMM coming off the bench or stick Livett on the bench.

I’d probably go with Hughes, Livett, Clark to start. With a bench of Walker, Philbin, BMM and probably Tasi.
