took his try very well at a critical time. It looked like he stumbled and in the act of balancing himself he threw a very subtle dummy that Lomax took..which opened up a gap for Hughes to exploit.

Don't think he stumbled. Watch it again and admire that very subtle dummy. Brilliant!

It was between that, and Bodenes tackle on Lomax(?) as he broke for our line around the same time. 2 massive turning points in the game. And that sexy little flick pass from Ratch for Linehams winner.

The decision of Saints to take 2 when it meant 3 to a 5 point lead was decisive.

Hughes, Westwood and Lineham looked washed-up and finished in the P&B last year but, goodness me, they've come back screaming.

I'm sure Price would say it's down to the players, but the difference under the new regime is astonishing.

Hughes in particular has had a huge season and in scoring his try he made Percival and Barba look like shop window dummies. It needed pace, footwork and composure and he did it all with aplomb.

I don't agree with your assessment of Westwood last year. I think that the consensus was that he was definitely worth another shot perhaps at an anticipated lesser role (proved not to be the case) but certainly not based on sentiment.

Great try by Hughes and yes he's having a better season as far as his footwork goes it was staggering!!

ha ha I've not watched the game back but thought it was more of an involuntary movement an adjustment if you will rather than a pre planned Gareth Edwards playing for the Barbarians sidestep. Apologies for the RU reference for those easily offended.
