Anyone got any pointers on the pub situation around the stadium?
I haven’t been to the Reebok.. Macron whatever they call it now, in years, ending up having a pint in the bowling alley last time

The most popular pub seems to be the Beehive on the T junction of the road that leads to the stadium and the main Horwich to Bolton road.

Revolution Bar used to be inside the Middlebrook retail Park, but its a while since I too went there but it is a quality set up in Horwich.

Might be best to go to Westhoughton for a few and get a 5 min taxi ride down.

On google maps there's a place called Horwich Park Inn almost opposite the ground though it may be packed because of this ?

No fuss from me...I'll find a niche in the ground and have a drink there. Can't be bothered if its a £1.50 dearer.

I live in Westhoughton and its 5 minutes away in a taxi from the town centre. In the town centre we have a wetherspoons and few other pubs and bars. Spoons is probably the best.

In middlebrook you then have an Harvester near the ground and next to that is a sports bar called Missoula. However the Beehive is alsp up the road leading to Howrich. Howrich is a decent town with several pubs and that is about 5 minutes away from the ground. However its a further distance travelling from Leigh than Westhoughton.

Ill be in the spoons in Westhoughton as its my local and im probably one of the only wire fans in the whole of Westhougthon. In fact i know 3 more!

Post match is back to the Kings Head.

Think there'll be 4 of us in Westhoughton wetherspoons pre match to take advantage of early doors opening hours. We are making a day of it back to Bolton post match Man O Scythe for some cloudy cider, mallarkie and a curry
