| With the loss to castleford Friday, a top four finish going into the next round of fixtures is not guaranteed. Although Leeds cannot be dismissed I think five teams are fighting to be in the top four. I think it's vital if we were to finish in the top four after the super 8 a home tie would be so beneficial. What are people's thoughts as to where we will be after the regular season fixtures?? I think we will be third or fourth. I think Wigan will be 5th

You honestly think Wigan are poor?
They had one hell of a game vs Wire. Both teams were knackered and lost the week after it.
Wigan might just not beat Cas away but they'll win every game afterwards for sure.

| I'm not convinced by them at the moment, I think since wane has announced his departure things have not been good, Tomkins etc . I think they have a tough set of fixtures. It's a massive game for them against Hull this week.. just my thoughts. I think Castleford will be 2nd

They were better than Warrington at Magic and had been all season to that point. Wane's departure and the Tomkins saga seems to have set off an implosion that shows no sign of slowing down. They were 28 points better than you at Magic and 23 points worse a couple of weeks later. They're a mess at the moment. They can turn it round, plenty of talent at Wigan, particularly if they sack Wane early and get a new coach in, the internal conflict has blown a massive hole in their chances.

| They just need a full week to bolt down and reset. There is nothing wrong with Wigan machine. They have only off leaded JT. It seems some posters cannot see the woods for the trees.
Cas might come to soon, I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure that they'll beat everyone else before the split.

| We don’t need to finish in the top 4 after those fixtures. Just need to finish there after the Super 8s. So as long as we’re in the mix I’m not too bothered. Stay in and around, eventually finish there after 30 games and the season is two games long.

| To be within the Top 4 at this stage of the season from where we were is an excellent progression.

Dead right. This season is so much fun for us compared to last year.

| Really looking forwrad to the run in, we're ahead of where I expected at this stage - possibly helped out by some injury problems for Hull & Leeds - but we're going pretty well atm.
Much of our improvement I think for us to push on comes from Roberts and that right edge attack. Roberts, BMM, Atkins and Charnley with Ratch out the back looks very good. Hopefully Brown wont be missing for too long.
Looking further afield, Leeds are on the cusp of falling too far behind in the race for top four and could even get dragged towards the middle 8's again if their situation doesn't improve. Catalan & Huddersfield are battling for 8th and how will Widnes & Hull KR do in the middle 8's with Toronto and hopefully Toulouse in form.
If I had to pick a final table, I'd probably go
Saints
Cas
Wigan
Wire
Hull
Leeds
Wakey
Catalan
Huddersfield
Salford
Hull Kr
Widnes
Toronto up in place of Widnes to set the cat amongst the pigeons.

| Considering we don't have a big squad, i think our back room boys need a big pat on the back for keeping a generally good team on the pitch & our season on track,so far.

This ^^^
Easily forgotten that 4th place upwards only comes after the Super 8s. Hopefully we'll be in good enough form to secure 2nd-4th through that period.
Interestingly, if we had to finish 3rd or 4th I feel that we have a better chance of winning Saints away, than Wigan away. I feel we could upset Saints in a one-off game, whereas we've already used our trump card against Wigan this season and they'll be motivated for revenge.
