Much work to do but there is a good core there.

I can see why we've all been on the negative side this season. It hasn't just been the results, the performances barring two games i can think of (Brisbane & St Helens at Home 2nd Half) have been uninspiring to say the least.

I don't for one second feel like next year is going to be all rosey, but its a clean slate and it's time we got behind the new coach steering the club through thick and thin. The last 20 minutes against Hull KR was arguably the best atmosphere I've heard from us in quite some time so hopefully we can kick on from there and end the apathy.

I've renewed my season ticket (for my sins..) and i'm looking forward to next season already.

I'd add Philbin to that list. And potentially Crosby & Patton. Westwood also adds weight as an experienced squad player (waits to get shot down).

On the positive side I won't have to fork out for a trip to that overrated Old Trafford ground this year.Ripped off for car parking, ripped off for possibly the worst burger I have ever tasted and then postioned behind a stanchion and surrounded by drunks for 2 hrs.

That is the state of play currently (except Gidley)for next season. It seems a prop isn't priority...although I think it ought to be.

That may be our full strength 17 and whilst it does look threadbare, it's worth remembering there's nothing of quality or experience as squad backup to cover any injuries.

I know that it's a bit 'tongue in bill' but a fully fit King T would be in the mix for me, certainly worth a proper coat of looking at.

I positively can't believe the number of stupid niggling injuries our players pick up .Is it something wrong in training or the warm up procedure ? With this season it can't be much to do with injuries picked up tackling opponents.

Having watched both Livett is a much more talented player than King. Plus he's a fantastic goal kicker.

Agreed. IMO Livett is streets ahead of King - especially with his natural rugby brain. Livett will go on to become a fantastic player and highly likely an England player.

True, and Livett also had utility value to play Half or Loose.

I do think King deserves to have an injury-free run at centre too though to give himself chance to establish as a first team player. How many decent academy products have lost that could have developed well under a different coach? Whilst O'Brien is no world beater I feel a new coach could maybe have got the best out of him here at Warrington. He's decent enough, and maybe Patton will be.

My point was partly re the Centre spot as I'm not sure Livett's long term future is there. Oh, and he horrendously missed a one on one tackle on Saturday that led to their second try, so he should be damned to eternity. Some players would be.

Which players would be? Livett is only 20 with 13 SL games under his belt so we can give him a bit of latitude.
