I'll tell you what Tony that has been the case for 80% of the time this season, pretty pointless when it's too late and we're with the also rans in the middle 8's and the only thing we can hope for from=#BF0000[u YOUR[/u massively expensively assembled squad is that we don't have the ignominy of playing Championship Rugby next season

What we can't do is have one good performance against Brisbane and do awful the rest.

How ironic Brown has had his best game against he club his national team manager coaches. If anything you'd think Wayne would know how to deal against him.

He is getting infuriating. They owe the fans a bloody apology for this shambles.

Oh dear they have trained well again this week reading that.

Apparently last tackle plays let us down against Wakefield and they are important. I could have sworn they have let us down all season. Still it's good they have worked on it in training.

How many times this season have we touched on the lack of idea on play 5?....no way he has only just got it.

He will say something like "I am not going anywhere, I am going to see this through. We need to roll our sleeves up, dust ourselves down and work hard during the week".

He owes us a new coaching setup, sadly I see no way that the current regime will improve performance levels and put us back in the frame challenging for the prizes. It's all gone stale and agars appointment has been the disaster that most people thought it would be (I was wrong on this one) we just aren't entertaining or even effective anymore, a truly awful team to watch despite the fact we have quite a few exciting players. I still find it extremely depressing that we started this season with Russel and Evans as part of our backline, I think Toby Kings injury ensured that but it's just not been good enough.

I don't mind if he stays in some back seat (very back seat) capacity but we need a new direction. The style of play we have adopted for the past 3 seasons has been appalling, save for the sandow show at the start of last season.

We once played the most exciting rugby in the league, we now play the worst.

They don't owe us A performance, they owe us an explanation for what's happened to the club from top to bottom

Well we can't blame russell evans or brown for how we've played of late.

I haven't blamed any players for our performances of late, or any point of this season. To be straight, I have no problem with Russel and Evans being back up to the first team but that is all I view that they should have been at the start of the season. I rate Toby King he causes the opposition problems and the more players who do that the better, perhaps Evans got a good run because of Kings injury problems, I'm not sure what Smiths first choice would have been, for all we know Evans and Russel could have been his first choice. I never even mentioned Brown.

My blame lies entirely at the hands of those who are in charge of our tactics and more specifically the fact that they haven been unwilling to alter their approach despite the dire displays and total lack of improvement we have witnessed this season.

Well, at least playing on Friday nights had helped us, having a full weeks turnaround going into the awful thursday nights (it clearly hasn't helped at all)

So we hope for a performance against the team currently bottom of the league.

And if we lose again then what?

Leigh and Widnes always raise their game against us and as for Wigan away, no chance on current form.

The worse outcome is you have seen us win our last game against Catalans until the middle eights.

Nail on head, if Smith cant beat the team bottom of the league, why does he still have a job.
No wonder he's saying we deserve a performance.

If this is the way TS is approaching this game, on that basis alone he should not be there along with his second once the game is over if we lose. No if's no but's!!
