Trying to secure a better deal than we have offered according to this. Smacks a bit of when he re signed with Saints and we were apparently in some sort of bidding war. I never blame anyone for wanting to secure their future but he is in danger of burning a fair few bridges...still if Saints are prepared to have him back maybe the rumours about his behaviour were unfounded.
Should we be trying to keep him?
Strange time to go public on this given tonight's game!
