I don't think Brown is bagged yet but we are definitely in for him. Widnes taking the pee on transfer.

The top and bottom of it is that a Club with true ambition wouldn't sign a player like brown. They'd either bring in a true world class half or promote a home grown star. But no, if this deal comes to fruition then we'd be seeing two steps backwards rather than one forward.

The question has to be asked, why are Widnes so keen to offload their captain so late in the year?

Just saying you can't look past facts. Our edge defence was poor at best last season. I just don't see how signing him will take us forward.
