well i was hoping we had significantly reduced our offer from last year after him dicking us about, and then having a career low season, his negotiating position was pretty weak.

Well that's a great pack assembled for next season. Great front 3 with quality back up on the bench and in reserve, we have a quality second row (which will get even better when currie returns) again with able cover and a good LF. Now a back or 2 please.

After last years toing and froing combined with his fall out with Poundland it's probably a case of prove your worth while Currie is out.

Crosby is the same height and weight as Sims. According to some that means he isn't big enough for the front row.....

Yet he manages an extra 1m average gain.

Don't get the Sims bashing. He did a good job with limited back up. Suspect we will see a different style of play from him next season given the new personnel.

Our pack is going to be stronger next season. We had so many who hardly played ...Dodds, Cox, Bailey plus Laithwaite and Harrison. We'll miss Currie but otherwise I'm very happy with what we've got.

I think it is Hill who could complain about back up. Sims was completely ineffectual going forward in the GF. Neither quick play the ball or gains.

Hopefully Kevin Naiqama is next.

When Hill and Sims are off the field our go forward in non existent. Not one can run onto a ball and make an impart. Sims wins the collision, finds his front and plays the ball quick every time. This allows hill to make more meters because the opposition line isn't set and cant move forward. the both of them compliment each others game brilliantly. George King spends most of his time looking like he's lost his mum in the supermarket. Regarding the GF what Sims lacked in making meters or quick PTB he made up for in attracting 3-4 defenders near enough every time he had the ball. someone on a short ball would have opened Wigan up.

starting pack next year will be Hill, Clark, Sims, Hughes, Savelio, Westerman. Crosby coming on for Sims and Coops on for Hill and another forward on the bench for anything in between

With these new additions we may well see a different Sims as he could have the licence to run the edges rather than be a battering ram every game.

Nowhere near enough pace or mobility to play out there.

He's doing a fine job at prop anyway.
In recent years Warrington fans have seen how important the collective four-pack of props can be and I expect both Hill and Sims to be even more effective in 2017.
