| Whether it be from Wire fans or the RL fandom in general, who out of our current squad doesn't get the praise they deserve?

| I've voted for Jack Hughes but could have easily gone for Big Joe

Is there someone I've missed you feel could be described as underrated? Most of our good players do get the praise they deserve.

| I actually think Daryl Clark is very underrated as he's been amazing this season. In a league with a disgracefully scruffy and slow ruck, he still stands out as quick around those pathetic rucks. The guy is absolutely brilliant!
I've heard from pundits and fans that Chris Hill was harshly done to for not being in the MOS shortlist (and he was!)!but I think Clark was too. I think Hill and Clark are among the four best players in the league along with Bateman and Lomax.
But not on the list above!

Clark would be my player of the season. I think he gets plenty of praise. If it weren't for Houghton having the season of his life he'd be in the dream team. Also he won players' player at the awards this year. Overall, I think if we had done a poll of 'best player of 2016' it would be between Clark and Hill so I really couldn't class him as underrated.

| Jack Hughes was my pick I think he's terrific and goes about his business quietly and to a consistently high standard. I can't believe that there's been votes for Russell in an underrated poll, each to there own I suppose

Really? Russell is the reason I made this poll. Though I agree Jack Hughes is fantastic and hugely underrated for the record. I feel so much about the way we play and why it works is down to Rusty's tackle busting and scoots. We would not be the top metre making side in the league without him. And he takes so much work away from our front row, allowing the likes of Chilly and Bash to do the big minutes they do and win the forward battle. While he is appreciated, I think he is one of our top 5 players and deserves way more credit for his contributions.

Depends on your viewpoint really. Russell doesn't seem rated by his own fans at times, so could be the very definition of underrated.
Went for Hughes myself, one of those players the opposition fans probably couldn't care less if he was playing, especially when compared to Hill / Clark / Currie etc. Buts does a great job every week for 80 minutes.

It is an odd one I will grant you that. Scooting, metre making and he has pace I can agree with. However can he pass, can he catch (we know the answer to this one) does he have a rugby brain and by that I mean from FB and I realise that there are different types of FB and not everyone can play the Hodgson chiming in the line/pivot game?
He's a trier and when he first burst onto the scene I thought we might have a player (we still might if he can nail a position and get a bit of confidence back under the high ball) when I see his name on our team sheet I'm not devastated but with a fully fit squad he wouldn't be in the 17 for me

The second half of your post was why I picked him, there's probably only us and Hudd's fans that would notice the work he gets through I get the impression the were quite keen to see him stay
