Woke up to the very sad news that Yed has tragically taken his own life. So very sad. God bless fella. Rest in peace.

Bloody hell. As far as I know, I never met him, but feel I knew him well. Crazy.

Woke up to the same news. He was a joy to be around. One of life's good people, he has been suffering with depression for a while now. I thought he was slowly making progress but in the end, it defeated him.

Terrible news.. He has been battling depression for a while, but i never thought i would wake up to this.

It was only last week i was laughing and joking with him on FB. Just when you think someone is on the up and getting better... you actually dont know anything at all.

We will miss you buddy

An absolute ing shame, I can't put into words how I felt when I found out last night.

For those of you that didn't know him, yed had his troubles but he was a diamond of a bloke, funny, as already stated we thought he was working through them.

I'd like to share something being passed around facebook today, regarding the hot topic of males and mental health, just last week he was trying To Help a friend of his who was having a hard time.

Terrible sad news, I only met him once, but had spoke on the phone as he live near me down south. I'm gutted, he was just a genuine lad. Warrington was so in his heart. More then ever I hope we win this Saturday for him. My thoughts go to his family and friends. Rip Yed

I first met Stephen when I lived down south - he was a very easy going young man, nice to talk to, we enjoyed a beer together as we watched the u19's beat London and discussed old rugby injuries. I knew he had some personal problems but I can't quite believe he has gone, and at such a young age. Moving on was quite right when he says he was one of life good people. Shocking news and will be sorely missed.

Never met anybody on here, but Yed seemed like the kind of bloke you'd want to be a mate with.
I'll miss his posts on here. Had lots of good to say.

Shocking news, hardly knew him in person but just from interaction on here I could tell he was a great bloke.

I'm sat here not thinking what I am reading is real, I knew he had some problems we often spoke on the fone, thought we were getting somewhere, I'm stunned, my thoughts go out to his family RIP mate.

I've known Ste for a good five/six years. We had proper conversations about anything from rugby to black dogs to cycling.

I've known of his issues for a while and we used to discuss them in depth. I, like so many others, tried to help.

I hope his legacy is that what Morley's shared: It's ok to talk.

Wow, i hadn't realised he'd spoken to so many people seperately on here about his issues, but it doesn't surprise me as he was a very friendly talkative guy.

its hard to work out why someone, with so many friends, and with so much to live for, would take their own life like this.... I guess we will never be able to understand how depression can effect certain people.

It's so so sad this.

We lost touch a while ago but he was always a decent guy when I spoken to him on here/FB and helped me a lot with my nutrition. RIP Steven.

I never met him nor spoke to him but feel an overwhelming sadness that any life should end like this.

Terrible news. I only knew of Yed's mental health battle from reading his excellent posts on the subject. Not ashamed to say I shed a tear when I read this.
