Just heard that Cas arr thumping Wakefield so I guess to stand any chance of a top 4 after round 30 we now have to win next week
The gap I'm thinking between 22 and 28 pets is far too wide and with less home fixtures and difficult away games the remaining 7 games look like dead rubbers
A hard season to watch for all ....but we still have a chance of Cc glory and I do hope Saints beat Leeds as I can honestly see a final victory if we beat KR

weeks ago a trip to wembley would of been a huge bonus but recent performances gives us a great chance of cup final glory..as for the league defeat next week makes the top 4 near impossible....

All our eggs have to be thrown in the cup basket, yes the last 3 weeks have been a lot better performance wise, but barring a miracle we wont make the top 4 after the 8's. This year has been a real learning curve but with the continued development of the younger players, Currie, Dwyer et al and the new additions next season we could be on the verge of something very special. Would still like to see us buy a decent prop for next year though.

Defo agree on the prop front. We need a big heavy yard maker with a bad temper from the south sea islands.

If we don't beat Cas then we may as well not bother with the playoffs, as it will be a pointless exercise. We won't make up 6 points on Huddersfield or Cas in 7 games. Wasn't sure on the new system until it has now unravelled, but now I'm afraid it appears to be a bigger waste of time than the previous joke of a comp. I'm really worried for the game, with the idiots we have running the game at the RFL now.

Absolutely. With last years format we would've sitting pretty in 6th, knowing we are coming in to some form, for an assault at the play offs.

Fact is we don't deserve a shot at the play offs based on our form so far in 2015, and unless we see a big improvement results wise in the next 8 weeks, we won't be in with a shout of Old Trafford. Just because it looks like we won't be in the mix this year doesn't mean the new format hasn't served its purpose - I'd say the opposite is true.

The system is fine. Top 4 make the play offs. If you are not in contention to make the top 4 then you just simply havent been good enough. If we beat you next week I cant see you catching us or Huddersfield. If you win then us and you will be foing the chasing on Hudds.

Will you be resting players for the CC semi or going all out??

We're deservedly where we are. Turning up for the big games really doesn't cut it and the team and Smith have been found wanting badly. Yes we've had injuries, but so have many other teams.

Horrendous home performances against Huddersfield, Cas and Hull have quite rightly bitten us on the derriere.

We may have Wembley to look forward to, That would at least keep the team focused till end of August

Unfortunately, I have to agree whilst we don't have a Devine right to win our games the losses to Hudd's and Cas have proven to be real four pointers.

I quite like the format just not the way that we have played it and whilst I don't want to appear to be grasping at straws does this system further invalidate the lob-sided magic fixture list? We may have benefitted in the past, but, the end game to qualify for the GF was different.

Bottom line, we are genuinely where we are so no real complaints, let's hope for a win against Cas and then an end of season unbeaten run in play off and cup comp's
