Huddersfield, Castleford, Catalan and KR all lose! Could it have been any better for us !!

From looking like we might struggle to make super8s , we can make a realistic challenge for 4th spot ,if we get some bodies back

If we beat the stains on Thursday, then we will have had victories over the top 3 ,no reason why we can't do well in super8s

26 points is the most wolves can achieve Hudds currently hold 4th spot on 24 points with a 90+ diff and they play wakey at home last game . Can't see wakey beating them so 4th is unrealistic really.

You do realise the playoffs aren't for another nine games?

can't see us making top 4 in the regular season, however we need to keep within catching distance of Huddersfield to make the top four semifinalists come September. Excellent results today.

Top 4 before end of regular season is all but impossible; it would mean Huddersfield losing at home to Wakefield and away at Catalans as well as Warrington beating Saints and Castleford. However now we have beat Wakefield we're nailed on for 6th. If we do manage to win our next two games we'll leapfrog Cas into 5th and most likely be level on points with Huddersfield going into the 8s... Not to get too ahead of myself, but this season might well start to turn around after all with all the bodies we'll have coming back over the next few weeks...

I feel injuries may play a huge part in super8s .it only takes injury to vital players for any team to struggle when other top teams ,I'm sure no one really knows how they are going to pan out

Well, after all the doom and gloom of April, May and early June, it now looks as though we will go into the Super 8s with a reasonable chance of making 4th and then anything could happen. Plus semi-final of the cup. Good, eh?

Can you see Wakefield going to Huddersfield and beating them when they have nothing to play for? They'll probably put out half a team to prepare for the first match of their Super 8 the following week. Perhaps impossible was an exaggeration but it's not going to happen.

It might seem unlikely but Brian Smith has got some of the Wakefield team performing and the missing pack members might be back available. And teams with 'nothing' to play for are often dangerous opposition.
