Well I'm going for the full weekend, including the Newcastle game on Friday, then meeting up with several others on here for Saturday and Sunday. Staying in the Holiday Inn Express, about 500 yards from the ground and my wife's having a 2 day shopping spree. This should be the best attended Magic weekend yet, with a lot of interest up here in the NE.

I am like a child at Christmas! I spent yesterday trying to explain the event to our London based Directors, with limited success.

We are also planning on going to the Friday game, how easy is it to get there?

Not going this year. Baby is still young so don't want to leave the missus to look after her for the two days so I'll watch it on TV. Have fun to those who are going.

Get on a Metro train for the Airport from either Central or Monument and get off at Kingston Park. The ground is about 3-4 minutes walk from there.

I'm booking car parking in an NCP for the day. It was £5 for the day just round the corner from the ground, was a multi storey.

The last time i was in Newcastle was with work, we stayed at the Jurys Inn. I seem to remember going to a Cowgirl bar on the outskirts. I remember a bucking bronco and scantily clad bar staff if anyone knows what it was called?
