Yep, I'm in. Got my South S/T. My 1st S/T for a number of yearsas I have always paid on the gate in recent years, but I got a S/T with the 3 months interest free credit.

Bringing a lad down I work with too to get him into it.. He's a footy fan so when I said tickets were £20 he nearly fainted.

Got my ST as per usual but for the first time in years I am not getting a new shirt. I resent paying £40 for a glorified tee shirt, even though it's in my team colours. I'll dig my stripey one out and run the risk of being called a "one game fan" if we get to a final. Bought a bob hat though.

No, but I'll still go most of the games.

Phoned the Club this morning to get my True Colours 6 match ticket for the South Stand once again. Great value when you take into account I get the half price Magic tickets too, and perfect for someone like myself who lives away and can't always get home. I was told that the shop was very busy this morning with plenty of people buying season tickets as presents.

Looking forward to a visit to Geordie land, have already got several friends from surrounding areas committed to coming to the game.

Fair bit of interest in the NE, with Gateshead Thunder also taking advantage with a number of offers. It needs another good push in the New Year.

Question, do you think it's worthwhile the club actually pushing these 6 game season tickets at the same time as the regular season ticket renewals/sales?

They only seem to come in after the initial sales push of the ST's and the fixtures and obviously there is always the usual (legitimate) groans about fixtures. Would it be a good idea for the club to accept and acknowledge this and cater from the off.

People who would buy season tickets might be tempted for the 6 game ticket if launched at same time. Hence fall in season ticket. Seated season tickets count as attending a game even if they are not there. If people went for the 6 game ticket they would have to attend to count, and would you use your limited ticket for a game like say Salford or Hull?

The 6 game ticket is aimed specifically at those who wont buy a ST but the club wants to get some money in up front.

How much are the 6 game tickets?

They're designed to cater for the fan who can't make every game. Perfect for anyone who now lives out of the area like myself. The way that they work is that you have 3 categories of game and you get 2 vouchers for each category. I usually ring the ticket office a few days prior to the match I want to see to reserve my ticket, then on match day swap the voucher for the ticket. It's easy and I haven't had a problem with it. RD, mine is for the South Stand and it cost £110, which is a saving of 1 game, but I also get the benefit of half price Magic tickets and the other benefits that full season tickets have.

I think membership is the way to go. It will be interesting to see what approach the new Chief Exec takes. The club seems to have rested on its laurels since 2011.

One good incentive of a season ticket/membership card would be to have a 20% discount on all club merchandise and match day food and drink.

I think it would make sense to bring the food and drink kiosks under direct control. The LSV did this two years ago and was able to reduce the cost of a pint to £2.70.

Inevitably someone will reply that one should be able to go 90 minutes without a drink, but let's face it plenty enjoy watching with a pint and why shouldn't they? It's the little things like that which give people an excuse to watch in the pub. It's easy to bleat about Friday games etc, but we have to accept that in the last few years watching sport at home or in the pub has improved beyond recognition. We have to be able to compete with that.

All the NRL teams promote it as "become a member".

Could work over here as many seem to forget a season ticket is a two-way street, you're investing in the club. The "member" title might appeal to a few egos.
