I think you could be on to something there, no doubt there will be a couple of surprises though judging by the way this season has gone. I expect Leeds and Wigan to be the teams to beat.

Well, my lamentable performance in this year's prediction competition makes me realise that I'm never going to correctly forecast so many games, but for what it's worth, I've got a sneaking feeling about Huddersfield winning it this year.

I think Castleford will beat Saints.

Huddersfield certainly are the dark horses, but I think as soon as they cause an upset (beating Wigan?) Or reach the Semi's the pressure will get to them.

If Saints beat Castleford we would travel to Castleford should we win our game against Widnes.
If Castleford beat Saints we would travel to the loser of the Wigan vs Huddersfield match.

If Huddersfield lose against the Pies and Stains beat Cas, then Huddersfield will play the lower ranked team (and so couldn't play Warrington as we've finished 5th).

My predictions are based entirely on Us getting Bridge, Harrison & Super Ben fit to play

Week 1
St Helens V Cas = Cas win
Wigan Vs Giants = Wigan win
Warrington V Widnes = Wire win
Leeds V Catalan = Catalans win (this is the 1 result that is a close call)

Week 2
St Helens v Catalans = Catalans win
Giants V Wire = Wire win (But only if we get players back)

Semi-final
Wigan (clubcall) V Catalans = Wigan win
Cas V Wire = Wire win

Final
Wire beat Wigan.

But as i have said I cant emphasise enough getting our injured 3 players back and playing well is CRUCIAL. If we don't, then I fancy a Wigan V Giants Final with a Wigan win.
