Just in case people did not know there is no train to st Helens central on Saturday, normally you change at wigan but they are only putting buses on from there this is a longer journey than just going by bus from warrington. you can get to st Helens junction but this is 3 miles from the ground I believe.

I don't know who told you Langtree is '3 miles' from the Junction station but they are well wide of the mark. I live close to the station and the stadium is about a mile and a quarter away.

Easy way of getting there from the Junction is to turn left outside the station onto Station Road, keep walking straight onto Robins Lane and a 10 minute walk to the end of Robins Lane and you will come to Sutton Park on your left and then turn right onto Marshalls Cross Road and the stadium is a short walk away,

It was someone that lives in st helens, actually come to think of it he does have short legs.

It is intriguing that the journey to St Helens has initiated more discussion than the journey to Perpignan did.

Journey to Perpignan is probably more straight forward to make.

Apparently the train from Bank Quay to St Helens Junction & Lea Green is running normally on Saturday.

This is true its only st helens central that is affected.
