His cowardly action of kicking Joel in the head is in-excusable, but his tackle on him to save a try on the wing in the first half was impressive.

Probably just a warning, I remember Sam Tompkins doing this twice and that was all he got a warning.

That will just be described as a Leeds tackle Brian ,no further action, just like the Leeds pass that is a yard forward ,or the impressive Leeds defence who are always a yard in front of the ref.

Colin Dixon would have eaten Ablett for breakfast. In an era of hit men he was as good or as bad as any of them depending on your point of view. IMO I doubt if anything he did was accidental. I remember him pile driving Jim Challinor head first into the ground deliberately injuring him and, on another occasion deliberately stamping on John Bevan's ankle
whilst he was on the floor under a pile of bodies having just been tackled. One of the most malicious players I ever saw.
