Looks as though the Bulls have a big hole in their finances again, and their board have told the players they are free to leave should they wish. So now we have two clubs that may not even reach the start of the SL season.

I've been thinking about Omar Khan, at first I thought he had an ulterior motive, but now I realise he was just stupid and naive. He believed that if he played the role of the saviour and had a few weddings in the coral stand money would come rolling in. I found it a bit sick when the players went unpaid in the summer and he tried to use it to heap more praise upon himself. Robbie Paul said yesterday that OK left the club in a worse position than which he found it and won't be getting a penny back.
If we have learnt one thing from this, there needs to be a lot more checks and balances in place. Ryan Whitcut should never have been allowed anywhere near the club, just look at his record! companycheck.co.uk/director/912712996 |

I just hope the fans or the RFL don't get dragged into baling them out again.
If they can't sort things out themselves they should be allowed to go bust and
make way for a more deserving club.
Sounds like incompetence or worse.

Without doubt the previous directors made some big mistakes and clearly didn't know much about running a RL club. Let's not forget that 1.2M shortfall in Sky money too though which has clearly also made things extremely tough. Hopefully the new owners will now make the tough decisions needed to work within a budget we can afford.
I understand our new chairman is planning on visiting Warrington to see how things are done at your club and share ideas. As before, it's the fans that are the ones that really suffer the flak though whilst the old owners just disappear off the face of the earth.

I think most of our players turn out for washers compared to other clubs , just for the prestige of playing for the Mighty Wire . |

I was told he never really wanted to go, even more so since all the problems began to arise at the end of the season. As far as I am aware though he wasn't offered a new contract, so if TS has decided he is surplus to requirements (don't understand it myself) I can't see him changing his mind. Wouldn't be surprised if he was snapped up by another club though. |
