Wet and windy on Thursday with spells of rain, heavy at times. Friday then brighter but still windy and unsettled with showers. Saturday then drier with winds easing.

Hopefully should be a dry game as it'll allow some of the ball skills to be brought out, and not so many dropped balls as we seem to see in wet games.

I think it was Sean Long who wrote that even if we have glorious sunshine, the pitch at Old Trafford is absolutely soaked. That may have changed now that Ferguson has left though.

If it does rain it messes with Wigan's game too, weather is the last of my worries.

Looks like it should be dry, which should help both teams and make for a better game.

It appears to be forecast excellent weather for playing Rugby. Cool and no rain. Just watched the 2011 highlights on Sky and it was bouncing down early on in that game.

So far so good for weather on Saturday, I can't see it raining.

As I said the other day, they go to town with the sprinklers so much so that it is soaking anyway.
