For reasons that I'm not going to go into, my son and I watched the game from the comfort of our sofa. We were unfortunately subjected to the most one sided, biased commentary we have ever heard. I could understand it had we finished top and we were playing the eighth placed team, and they were routing for the underdogs. But the commentary tonight was an absolute disgrace. Clarke was the only one who talked any sense, and it pains me to say so. We completely dominated the second half, they scored on their two excursions into our half, yet they were hard done by, and didn't get any of the ref's calls. Bloody disgrace!

I wonder if we win the grand final will we end up having smoke blown up our arrsses as much as Leeds, Stains and Wigan get these days? Because we are as big now and some would say better than them on our best days yet the commentary team seem intent on tearing us down anyway they could, though I don't think I care, I can never hear the commentary team over my screeching at the players on the field anyway half the time.

We played well tonight, and at no point in the commentary was that put forward as the reason we won.

I agree. Thought it was quite one sided commentry despite the fact that we did get the run of the green with the ref on some calls. At times it was a bit embarrassing.

Tony smiths interview with Eddie hemmings was good though. TS said he rollocked Briers at HT for having a game.

Wow. Just wow. Sky had Huddersfield written off all game. The bias was totally Warringtons way. Even Carney was wire biased.

Clarke was the only one making sense.

How many times did we have to endure the panel praising "the young Huddersfield fullback" watching countless replays of him catching balls.

They were certainly very patronising to Connor, half the time he didn't have anyone near him when he was catching the ball and they made a song and dance about it like he was a child standing up for the first time.

Can't believe Briers got MOM, dreadful first half. Stevo must have been on glue.

Agreed, definately should have gone to one of your forwards. Westwood, Hill and Grix all had fantastic games!

Couldn't agree more, just got back and watched the recording, I couldn't believe my ears when Grix scored, I Evan rewound it to check. Commentators are supposed to be unbiased really think sky need to look at these two clowns.

Just finished watching the game back and couldn't believe that I heard that correctly, had to rewind to check.

Hill, MMonas, Higham, Westwood, Grix, Ratch, Atkins and Bridge were all ahead of Lee imo.
Not one of his best games, but fair play to him as he upped his game in the 2nd half.

If we keep winning and the bias contiues their world will crumble around them. Just keep winning boys!

Then when the presentations was being conducted, Hemmings had the two faced cheek to walk up to Peter Griffin, shake his hand and give him a congratulatory pat on the back.

Still, not as bad as one of my Widnes buddies on Facebook last night who claimed that Silverwood was smiling when he awarded a try to Warrington.

A few years ago, during football on sky, there used tobe a interactive option where you could use different camera angles etc. Anyway, one of the options was to turn the commentary off and just have the crowd noise etc. It was a brilliant idea and I have no idea why they stopped it as i used to use it all the time! Sky need to implement this on Super league so we dont have to listen to these clowns. Tonights commentary was disgraceful.

Well said, Dropkick. I don't care what SKY said, whether we got the rub of the green, whether Briers should have been banned or not, anything. We are in the Grand Final. That'll do me. Now we HAVE to win it.

Defeat next Saturday would by my worst ever experience watching Warrington. Winning would be my best by far. There is no in between.

That's why I already know that win or lose we'll have people on here the next day saying the occasion isn't as good as Wembley. That's true because Wembley is a good fun day out whereas this is serious. Losing really isn't an option now.

I think its his hatred for Smith that causes this dislike for us... But in the heat of the moment, you cant hide your true colours... He was obviously hoping we got beat last night and was a bit gutted when we clinched it.

Being a United fan you see this sort of stuff all of the time. Martin Tyler on Wednesday night was a the latest case in point.

You get to the point with all the moaning from opposition fans, that sometimes you want a winning goal to be unjust, just so you can laugh at their inevitable meltdown.

I'm half hoping for a last minute win against Wigan where Tompkins gets illegally smashed by Morley (who should have already been sent off) drops the ball, we pick it up and a forward pass later go under the sticks.

I think the viewers at home would see a breakdown in front of their eyes.
